The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) Annual Event was held this year 12-15 April 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. Strongly emphasized were the themes of Technology, Collaboration, Innovation and Future Advances in Research. Key ideas heard many times over the three days of classes and sessions included those such as… “Technology… Innovation…Change…Leadership…Readiness, and Risk Management,” and how each of these (and each of us!) is essential to the successful conduct of researchboth now and in the future.

Starting with Friday’s learning workshops and Quality Congress, continuing with the opening Signature Series lecture on the Clinical Research Workforce for the Future, and on through the day Monday; there was a clear focus on the future, individual ownership of one’s career, utilization of new technologies and collaboration.  This really brought home the message that nomatter what our individual role or level of responsibility, we all have something to contribute, and that we all have a role to play in working together to positively impact the future of this industry.

FDAQRC, LLC participated in a lively session “Who’s on First: Developing the Best Inspection Team,” on Sunday; and in the Exhibit Hall with a highly visible informationbooth featuring Business Development Director Sean MacBean. Many new colleagues were met, and exciting and informative conversations were had with conference attendees regarding the content of, and their experiences with, the sessions they attended.
